Scott has grown up in the financial industry. Working alongside his father, also a Financial Advisor, Scott quickly found his passion in life was to help people with the complexities of preparing for retirement income planning. Smart planning is at the top of Scott's priorities and his tailored approach of merging investment strategies with personal goals reflect the same values that also drive the Hitchcock Investment Group. Scott is also very active in the Fiduciary community. He works closely with the Professional Fiduciary Association of California (PFAC) through sponsoring the annual PFAC Conference, co-authoring articles, and holding PFAC Educational seminars. As the word of personal finance evolves, Scott's focus is firmly fixed on ensuring all the hard work his clients have done over the years to accumulate their wealth is protected and preserved so it can be passed down to future generations.
What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?
Successfully helping families manage and transition wealth through generations.  Bringing a rejuvenated and comprehensive process to the wealth management industry, helping transform the experience of advising.

What do you love to do outside of work?
San Francisco Washington University in St. Louis Alumni Chair. Hiking, skiing and taking weekend adventures like Yosemite, Napa, Lake Tahoe. Spending time with my family. Building and deepening my friendships.
What would you be doing if you weren't at the Hitchcock Investment Group?
If I could mimic Anthony Bourdain's career, I would be a very happy individual.
What quality of yours makes you best suited to do what you do?
My ability to help other's navigate complex situations and understand key factors during decision-making moments. Making sound choices in these times is the key to success in life and compounds over time.
