Laura Russell-Jones

“One of my main areas of focus is women investors. I'm passionate about helping women better understand the markets and how to safeguard their financial future”

Laura Russell-Jones
Financial Consultant
Vice President - Investment Officer

Laura navigated the choppy waters of running her own online retail business for several years before joining the Hitchcock Investment Group. Her passion for helping people plan smarter for their retirement came from this experience when, as the former President of the San Francisco National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) she witnessed how unprepared business owners were when it came to retirement. As a result, Laura is now a powerful advocate for helping women business owners secure their financial future. Laura brings the same drive to her clients at the Hitchcock Investment Group and is passionate about empowering women investors, helping them become more financially independent and more confident about their financial future. Laura spent several years working in Washington DC, before moving to London, UK, to pursue a career in international finance. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2009 after a decade running her own online retail business and working as a mergers and acquisition specialist. Laura believes her broad industry experience as both a business owner and financial strategist is the perfect background for advising clients on how to best secure their financial future. While a native of San Francisco, she lives in Oakland and has been married over 20 years to her British husband and has a teenage daughter.
